Yesterday it was 50 degrees. Monday it will be below zero.
Today I woke up to four inches of snow, just in time for it to stay through the holidays.
Drummer isn’t cold. The Pyrs are dancing outside. The Dachshunds are snuggled under the covers.
I am by the fire with my coffee.
Don’t ever let it end.
IT sounds like you are so happy and content in Montana. What a beautiful setting. Headed to Vail tomorrow, it has been snowing all day there so hopefully they skiing is good as they needed the snow desperately.
Now that I have a replaced knee and hip, I’m considering giving up skiing except to ride the lifts up to wonderful meals. I do have very young grand nieces and nephews that I may join on the groomed green slopes. My doctor just asked me to consider the risk vs the reward. If I fall, its a big surgery if something breaks. How much do I enjoy it? Well not as much as I used to.
I really just enjoy being up on the mountain, not necessarily the challenge of skiing any more. I had my day. Ski for me. I will meet you for lunch some time.
78 degrees today in your birth state! Spectacular!
Merry Christmas!
