Right before the holidays in 2020, the abysmal divisions in our country depressed me. I thought that we should still be able to love each other even if we disagreed. We should be able to have civil conversations between people left of center and a right of center.
Buckley and Baines were born. Buckley is the conservative dachshund and Baines is the progressive Great Pyrenees.
I only had old drawing and watercolor paper, pens and paints in my cabinet. My first attempt was about the war on Christmas as it was the holidays. People liked it. There were so many issues with the election and the inaugural, I kept going.
I bought some new paper and pens.
