Back on the mountain

Friendship is required for courage.

To come back, to go up, to head down.

I thought I was done with downhill.

“You can’t fall!” They said after the knee and then the hip.

My courage was gone.

But Sarah is a mench. She is as compassionate as she is graceful on skis.

On the mountain, she leaves the perfect deep powder “S” track on the first run in the morning.

But she never leaves a friend in need. She got me back on the mountain.
