I’m still a bit shaken by the response.
We did not have enough chairs. There was a long line for signatures.
But mostly, people who are in the book, “love” the book.
I needed to hear them say that. I needed to know I got it right, for them.
A neighbor, a doctor, an EMT: “Healing” was a word said by many.
Twenty-one months from start to store.
For me, it was a very emotional and difficult time to tell the story of a Montana firefighter and the town that needed him to live and come home.
I am so grateful to find out that every moment was worth it.
